Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. In 2008 she completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Prescott College in the self-designed major of Public Art with an Emphasis on Social Impact. Her work aims to bring the arts into community spaces and bring overlooked issues into the forefront of a broader community dialogue. With over 15 years experience of working in various construction trades spanning painting to architectural restoration, Wesley is adept at applying her artistic approach to the building realm. As a visual artist she has received international recognition and acclaim for her work. Employing animation and multimedia installation for her creative projects, she explores modes of visual storytelling using a collaborative approach. She has been awarded grants and residencies from organizations such as the Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, The Puffin Foundation, Arizona Commission on the Arts, Springboard for the Arts, Franconia Sculpture Park, and Santa Fe Art Institute.
